PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lead the execution of New Product Development and Transition projects, through the use of the Project Management Tools and the standard transition process to ensure project goal alignment and deliverables on time, quality and cost. This position is responsible for deploying Pro Launch methodologies & processes within the Business unit under his responsibility. Also to provide training and Guidance on Pro-Launch tools & requirements to the production team leading Transitions. Manage cross functional transition teams to ensure parts are transitioned successfully from Sending sites to Tijuana, to an established plan, and thorough all phases from initiation launch, STP or NPD, to hand-off. This position will also monitor project portfolio performance within the Business unit or area under his responsibility.
