Job Description

D&K Engineering (a Burke Porter Group company) is looking for an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join their Rancho Bernardo location.

The Senior Controls Engineer designs, develops, and tests control systems, including for shipboard and maritime equipment. Develops and implements software for industrial controllers and HMIs. Interfaces with clients to gather and document system and component requirements. Collaborates with other D&K engineers and suppliers to ensure that control systems meet project requirements. Performs commissioning and testing, troubleshooting, and repair of control systems. Creates and maintains control systems documentation.

Essential Functions:

Creates reliable, elegant control system architecture and designs. Solves complex problems in a manner that meets program needs (technical, schedule, budget, reliability, etc.)

Develops PLC and other industrial controllers’ software.
