Overview
As a Senior Procurement Project Specialist here at Solstice Advance Materials, you will hold a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's procurement projects and initiatives. You will play a pivotal part in driving the development of tools and processes to analyze and measure Key Performance Indicators. In this role, you will impact on the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in project management, data analytics, and process improvements across our procurement operations. Through your leadership, you will ensure that procurement projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- You will work within a team of collaborative colleagues in the development of tools and processes to analyze and measure Key Performance Indicators, as well as spearhead the generation of self-discovery, integrative solutions and visualization tools to effectively communicate actuals and projections vs. Plan, and enable Procurement leaders to quickly identify drivers and trends at different organizational levels.
- You will be responsible for reviewing, re-designing and optimizing procurement processes and implementing best practices to improve efficiency, cost reduction and enhance strategic value.
- You should have basic project management knowledge and technical expertise and will be responsible for managing stakeholders’ expectations, driving data analysis for meaningful and active driven decision making.
- You will be responsible for interfacing directly with IT organization to drive continuous improvement in procurement data models in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Snowflake. You will be responsible for delivering accurate monthly KPI’s for leadership reporting.
- You will be responsible to drive out of box ideas from incubation to implementation through your project management and technical expertise on procurement processes.
- You will be responsible to conduct monthly trainings to buyers and implement new buyers’ onboarding plan for Solstice procurement team.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6-8 years of experience in procurement, data analytics and project management roles.
- Technical expertise is must with working knowledge on understanding procurement data models, experience in internal application and visualization dashboard development.
- Advanced data analytics experience, understanding SAP tables, SQL coding, knowledge in ETL process and experience of developing applications and workflow through Microsoft PowerApps / Power Automate or similar technology.
- Out of box and creative thought process to convert business requirements into technical specifications and work with IT or other internal teams to drive impactful solution to existing business problem.
- Working knowledge on SAP tables is desired to drive data analytics, align with Procurement and other teams on scoping business problem.

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong data management skills and data structure knowledge.
- Proficient use of ERP (SAP or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and innovative mindset to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to articulate points of view with senior leaders but execute plans when directed.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
