JOB TITLE: Project Engineer
LOCATION: Louisville, KY
SHIFT HOURS: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Project Engineer will interface with clients, engineers, project managers and/or vendors to successfully complete projects in the parcel handling industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop an understanding for the specific engineering design requirements per project, as well as general parcel handling knowledge, including:

  • Customer specifications/standards

  • Project scope definitions

  • Contract Change Orders

  • Review and approve vendor supplied designs, equipment, & drawings.

  • Provide technical interface with client’s project representative(s) to address clarifications, exceptions and/or changes during project execution.

  • Communicate project specific information with other DF&I departments including mechanical design, project management, purchasing, field installation, ...
