Position: Sr QA Automation engineer Location : Pune

Mode: Hybrid Experience : 4+ years

candidates should be flexible and willing to work on manual/automation QA work as per project needs.

Candidate should be based out of Pune

Sr QA- Automation:

• At least 3+ years’ experience in testing enterprise web and mobile based applications.

• 3+ years of hands-on automation experience using tools like Selenium/Protractor using , Java and JavaScript.

• Work with stakeholders and understand business requirements and translate to QE deliverables.

• Good experience in Agile,QA standards and processes.

• SQL is must have skills.

• Excellent Communication skills.

• Good to have experience in performance testing and AWS cloud services.

• Should be flexible to work on manual/automation QA work as needed in the sprint.

• Performs manual regression testing.

• Ability to identify risks and errors in applications

Job Synopsis

Role: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Key Responsibilities:

· Test Scenario Development:  Design and develop comprehensive and effective test scenarios, focusing on out-of-the-box thinking to ensure thorough coverage and maximum test coverage.**

· Data Analysis:  Perform data analysis to identify trends, outliers, and insights that can help in designing better test cases.*

· Automation Testing:  Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts(UI) using Selenium with C# (POM, SpecFlow).

· Manual Testing:  Conduct manual testing where necessary to ensure the software meets the highest quality standards and covers maximum test coverage.

· SQL Query Handling:  Write and execute basic SQL queries to validate data integrity and support test cases.

· API Testing:  (Bonus) Test APIs to ensure they meet functional, performance, reliability, and security standards.

· Collaboration:  Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.

· Continuous Improvement:  Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and suggest innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in writing test scenarios and preparing responsibility matrix.

· Good knowledge in C# and Selenium (POM, SpecFlow).

· Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and test support.

· Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

· Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus.

Logical Abilities and Analysis:

· Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.

· Ability to think creatively and develop innovative test scenarios.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

NOTE: Candidate should be ready to learn C# if he is not proficient. Manual and Automation testing combination should be 60:40
