Job Description
Eaton’s VEH NAT North America Truck division is currently seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer.
**What you’ll do**:
Monitors and improves a quality system in the manufacturing process. Supports other process engineers and supervisors on the tools and techniques of quality improvement. These will include problem solving techniques, Six Sigma, ISO/TS16949, and process improvement techniques like Kaizen principles.
A. Develop process control plans & review data collection methods & applicability of data to operator control; assist in the development & implementation of Dynamic Control Plan (DCP)
B. Assist with the implementation of quality systems (EQMS, IATF 16949/ISO)
C. Assist in the development of PFMEA’s and PPAP’s
E. Direct & conduct process potential studies & sample layout of new or revised processes
F. Interact with & assist customers on quality related issues, report root cause & corrective actions back to customer support engineer; conduct customer visits if need...
