Job Description:
**Job Overview**
To Design PCB, schematics, component selection and creation for TE Sensor Products.
**Job Requirements**
+ PCB Layout Design, component symbol and footprint creation, component library management, schematic/BOM creation for TE Sensor products used in Automotive, medical, industrial, and other business domains as per TE guideline and International Standards.
+ Create components for Altium Nexus Library.
+ Aware of EMI/EMC, Thermal and Safety (connector/ layout) design rules.
+ Aware of PCB manufacturing processes and technologies.
+ Conduct and participate in HW/Layout reviews.
+ Create and export manufacturing file.
+ Project deliverable preparation such as specification, Gerber file, BOM, etc.
+ Support VAVE/cost reduction concept design.
+ Product validation plan and tracking
+ Component selection
+ Maintain component library with all relevant files
+ Compliant with processes for ECAD engineering.
**What your background should look like**
+ Degree or equivalent in an Engineering/Electronics discipline
+ Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in ECAD engineering
+ Experience in schematic and PCB design, preferably in Altium Designer (Target is a plus)
+ Knowledge of circuit simulation with LTspice or similar simulation programs
+ Experience with manufacturing development processes in the automotive environment of PCB/PCBA
+ Experience in quality standards, thermal management, clearance/creepage, panel design in printed circuit board development for the automotive industry
+ Knowledge on thermal, EMI/EMC, Safety (connector and board) reules preferred.
+ Knowledge of Press fit technology, flex PCB, COB etc.
+ Knowledge on functional safety design acc. ISO26262
+ Knowledge in different sensor products and technology
+ Good Knowledge in verification of the electronic/electrical design, include definition of test criterion, test method, test set-up, etc
+ Good Microsoft Office skills
+ Good written and spoken English and communication skills
+ Commitment, sense of responsibility, team spirit and flexibility
+ Independent and goal-oriented working style
+ Willingness to travel to other TE locations, customers, and suppliers
