Job Description
Donaldson’s LATAM regional Sales Manager role will be supporting our Industrial Air Filtration-Equipment business. This role will direct manage a regional sales group and (1) Sales Manager and is accountable for the sales performance results of the region. This position is based out of Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Role Responsibilities:
• Accountable to meet or exceed the annual sales and operating budget plan for the region
• Effectively use a formal sales process combined with data-driven decision making to deliver a premium customer experience
• Identify trends with customers, market, and competitive landscape in the region and formulate an action plan to win market share in the region.
• Provide a robust voice of the customer to the Business Unit to ensure the development of the right products and solutions.
• Responsible for coaching the Territory Managers to manage performance through various sales stages. Leverage CRM to manage pipeline and utilize key performance indicators to measure sales teams’ and distribution partner effectiveness to maximize sales coverage and win rate
• Direct, inspire, coach, and provide feedback on performance and progress towards accomplishing sales goals and expectations.
• Lead annual goal setting and channel partner performance reviews while forming strategic partnerships to improve coverage in the region
• Develop relationships with key channel partners and external customers to exceed sales objectives while identifying emerging needs and resolving business challenges
• Develops broad influence through a robust set of internal and external relationships across the organization; promotes win-win outcomes within, among, and across teams, using the diverse perspectives of others to achieve results
• Work closely with other regions and corporate teams to aid in the expansion of our share of wallet with Large National Accounts.
• Improve win rate and negotiate contracts with key customers on large deals.
TRAVEL: Up to 35%
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field and +8 years of sales or customer-facing related experience required.
• At least +3 years of experience as a Senior Manager or similar leadership role.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication (verbal and written) skills
