Sr. Scientist

The Technical/Senior Scientist supports global business growth of Architectural Coatings through managing and implementing technical service activities including new business opportunity (NBO) of global sales teams.This role is primarily responsible for screening customer formulations to promote Elementis products to replace competitive products as well as support the commercial team to generate data for new product launches and customer training. Supports product qualifications, generating data to validate customer complaints, and screen raw materials as needed.Support costumers developing test to achieve performance goals both in rheological and applications proprieties.The candidate should have a background working with defoamers, dispersants, wetting agents and rheology, paint formulations and application methods.
