Position: Sr. Software Engineer (Full Stack) – Product Engineering
Experience: 6-9 Years
Location: Pune, India
CTC: As per the last drawn salary and interview performance.

Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:

 Gain complete understanding of the current functionality as well as EIS’ SDLC processes and procedures. Ensure compliance of these processes & procedures.

 Develop new functionality as per product development roadmap.

 Provides inputs for High Level designs along with Use Cases, Mockups and/or actual working POCs

 Contributes to creating detailed functional design, code and unit tests.

 Ensure deliverables are tested on integration test environments and demonstrated prior to user acceptance testing.

 Collaborate and coordinate effectively with Leads, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clarify use cases, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

 Translate business and product requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.

 Write, review, and maintain test cases to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of software deliverables.

 Adhere to and advocate engineering best practices, including code reviews, design patterns, secure coding, CI/CD, and automated testing.

 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

 Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions while proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and improvements.

 Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and technical challenges.

 Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack.

 Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where applicable to improve processes and products.

What you must have

Educational Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as Computer Science, Engineering (MCS/MCA/BE/BTech)

Must Have Skills:

 6-9 years of software development experience

 Expertise in Frontend and Backend programming technologies:

o Front End: Ionic 5+ & Angular 9+, Backbone, or similar frameworks

o Backend Technologies: Java, Springboot, Hibernate, Maven or similar frameworks

 Experience in developing hybrid mobile application using Cordova for iOS/Android/Windows 10

 REST Web-Services Integration and JSON/XML Data Parsing

 Experience in database technologies: MS SQL Server/MySQL/Oracle

 Experience in tools like Jira, Bitbucket/GitHub

 Excellent written and oral communication skills

 Expertise in the software development lifecycle with proven examples of process improvement

 Object Oriented Programming concepts

Desirable to have Skills:

 Experience leveraging Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles

 Good understanding of the mobile App ecosystem

 Strong problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to analyse issues and identify root cause

 Experience in life sciences or other areas of manufacturing domain
