What you'll do
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5–8 years of professional experience and a strong DevOps mindset to join our Tools & Insights team.
An opportunity to be part of the Tools & Insights team, owning and maintaining a broad range of third-party tools and services used across Volvo Cars digital landscape.

The chance to work closely with development teams across the Commercial Digital business unit, supporting them through efficient service management and automation.

Main responsibilities
Support and maintain a broad range of third-party tools and services owned by the Tools & Insights team.
Debug problems and find solutions to increase automation of system management.
Work on providing insights into various metrics of the tools for a wider audience.
Support stakeholders while identifying opportunities to reduce manual workload and dependency on human interaction.
Collaborate closely with other team members while sharing knowledge and responsibilities across systems.
Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to operational support.
Adapt to changes in services and responsibilities as the team’s scope evolves.
What you'll bring
Required:
Understanding and preferably experience with CDN service (configuration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, security features), Akamai obviously a strong bonus.
Understanding and preferably experience with managing DNS.
Strong cybersecurity expertise in web-based distribution, with the ability to support teams in understanding and solving security challenges beyond basic server or path-level configurations.
Proven ability to analyze system performance, proactively identify issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficient and effective resolution.
Strong collaborative team-oriented skills. We work as a team with total trust and respect for each other’s individual abilities and differences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
Experience with modern monitoring and alerting tools, such as Grafana, Kibana, Apica, or similar platforms, for observability and incident analysis.
Working knowledge of Power BI, including building dashboards, reports, and basic data modelling.
Experience in Python (automation, data processing, scripting).
Hands-on experience with Power Automate for workflow automation, integrations, and process optimization.
