Role: Sr. Software Engineer (Web)
Location: India Remote
Duration: 6 months
Work hours: 2-11 pm India hours
We are looking for a motivated Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building technology that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives. This role will play a key part in developing and evolving our telehealth provider and patient platform, delivering reliable, scalable, and user-focused solutions.
Will work across a modern technology stack built primarily with React and PHP, ensuring applications and modules are robust, performant, and easy to maintain. As a senior engineer, will collaborate closely with teammates across multiple layers of the infrastructure, contribute to technical design decisions, and help guide best practices in development and architecture.
Success in this role requires a strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving, code quality, and continuous improvement. Client values engineers who stay current with emerging frontend technologies, advocate for industry best practices, and take pride in building systems that positively impact patient and provider experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using React and PHP
• Build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Follow established development standards and best practices
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing applications with React
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions
• 4 6 years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Has leveraged AI development tools to expedite development projects

How we work:

• Operate on a 2-week sprint cadence using a Scrum-based framework
• Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
• Use trunk-based development with continuous integration
• Build SPAs using React, Redux, TypeScript, and Socket.io
• Maintain automated testing at both unit and end-to-end levels
• Leverage Docker, Jenkins, Azure, GitHub, Slack, and Prometheus for development and operations
