What is the opportunity?The Sr. Software Licensing Manager is responsible for applying their understanding of contracts, software/hardware licensing and IT asset management practices to strategically manage and support the organization’s effective licensing position (ELP) of software assets.The incumbent will be the subject matter expert in various licensing models, cost reporting, optimization and contract compliance.What will you do?Serve as the team’s Subject Matter Expert on Effective Licensing Positioning (ELP) by conducting reviews of software/hardware licensing agreements, entitlements and comparing against deployment, usage and consumption.
Lead on-going tracking, optimization, entitlement validation, identify risks and compliance concerns and provide strategic insights in preparation and anticipation of contract renewals.
