The Sr Specialist, IT of Integration & API analysts is responsible to gather and translate business requirements into technical specification. The ideal candidate will be an expert in integration patterns and have a good understanding of standard message formats and system functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a bridge between Technical and functional teams translating business requirements to technical specification documents.
  • Build requirements based on several message formats like X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, cXML etc.
  • Conduct Smoke testing and support System, Integration and User Acceptance testing.
  • Coordinate and plan interface development, testing support and roll-out.
  • Provide post go-live hyper care support.
  • Build knowledgebase of integrations and the business process supported by the integrations.
  • Provide expert advice to projects and support teams to resolve issues impacting business function.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience on Integration & API led integration projects
  • Expert level knowledge of Integration Architecture.
  • Expert level knowledge of X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, PEPOL, cXML etc.
  • Expert level understanding of database (SQL) - (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Good understanding of Systems of record (JDE, SFDC, Trackwise etc.).
  • Good at project planning and coordination
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good at taking notes and preparing documents.
  • Good understanding of Integration products in use at Baxter.
  • A passion for understanding business processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Adept at juggling several different projects and priorities at the same time.
