Sr. Staff Accountant

The Sr. Staff Accountant is responsible for recording and reconciling inventory transactions related to voyages and warehouse operations. This role supports month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensures accurate financial reporting, and contributes to continuous process improvement efforts. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record inventory consumption and adjustments upon voyage completion
• Record and monitor inventory activity for warehouses
• Prepare monthly close journal entries, including accruals, clean-up, and reclassification entries
• Support quarterly close activities, including voyage accrual splits and variance explanations
