About The Role
As a Sr. Staff Software Engineer in Core Services, you are a technical anchor for the foundational systems that power every Uber trip, delivery, and transaction globally. Your scope extends beyond a single team; you will define the 2-3 year technical vision for Uber's backend ecosystem.

You will be responsible for the health, scalability, and evolution of our most critical infrastructure-Identity, Payments, and Safety-ensuring they remain resilient as we scale to the next 100 million users. You will act as a peer to Directors and VPs, providing the technical grounding for Uber's most ambitious business goals.
