About our group: The Mechanical Hardware Engineering Design team develops mechanics for the next generation of high-capacity disc drives and systems to service the ever-growing storage requirements of today's connected world. Candidates should have an interest in applying their strong analytical and collaborative skills to solving complex mechanical design problems, validating design performance with testing, and working with a talented cross-functional team to bring these solutions to high volume production. About the role - you will: Design, develop, and validate innovative mechanical component and assembly solutions for Seagate's most advanced high-platter count disk drives. Design and document design solutions with SolidWorks CAD and in-house PDM software.
