Sr Staff SRE Operations Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain pipelines, solutions, and key processes for SRE Operations
• Driving key company initiatives using data, technology, and skill
• Participate in high level architectural discussions
• Continuously develop team skills and technological proficiency and provides technical subject matter expertise
• Effectively drive cross team/department projects to completion
• Develops and maintains knowledge management articles
• Participates in Level 3 On-call support

Job Requirement:

• Bachelors degree in technology, math or engineering disciplines or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years experience architecting and developing reliability-based solutions, automation, tooling, and/or pipelines in a scripting language (PowerShell preferred)
• 4+ years of experience with the following technologies Windows Server Administration, PowerShell, IIS, Amazon Web Services / Azure / GCP
• 2+ years experience developing solutions for containerized solutions such as Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or similar
• 2+ years experience developing with the following technologies; Database (SQL/Postgres Preferred), Networking, IaC tooling (Terraform preferred), Linux, .NET core
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Excellent mentorship and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• High level ofanalytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation
