Job Description
The Supplier Development Engineer (SDE) is responsible for improving Supplier Performance to a new standard; this includes, NPI Launches, Supplier Resourcing, Supplier Consolidations, Supplier Audits, Supplier Continuous Improvement activities on current production and new product introductions. Drive Top Supplier Focus Meetings focused on fixing and/or eliminating Suppliers causing Operations the greatest problems through systematic, data driven processes that ensures corrective actions are in place through documented Supplier Quality Improvement Plans.
**Key Responsibilities**
Interface with Operations, Quality, Production Planning, Category Managers, Project Managers, and Engineering for the development and release of Best-in-Class Suppliers that support Commodity Strategies.
Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfillment ensuring suppliers are able to meet delivery of components and requirements for production quality...
