Job Description: Senior Technology Consultant (P3)



Location: Noida



Experience: 5–8 years



UKG is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Technology Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will lead complex implementation projects, provide advanced technical guidance, and act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams. You will be responsible for solving challenging technical problems, driving best practices, and ensuring successful deployment of UKG’s Workforce Management (WFM) solutions.



Key Responsibilities



Lead technical workshops and design sessions with customers and project teams.



Serve as the primary technical consultant for multiple projects, ensuring adherence to solution architecture and best practices.



Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure, software configuration, connectivity, and integrations.



Provide expert guidance on implementing and optimising UKG’s SaaS-based WFM solutions, including:



Single Sign-On (SSO) and advanced authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).



Mobile Device Management (MDM), geolocation services, and geofencing.



Timekeeping terminals – advanced connectivity, configuration, and lifecycle management.



Integration with customer infrastructure, APIs, and third-party systems.



Collaborate with Global Support, Product SMEs, and cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues.



Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.



Qualifications



Education:



Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).



Experience:



5–8 years of experience in implementing or supporting enterprise software solutions in SaaS or cloud environments.



Proven expertise in UKG Pro WFM / Payroll / Time and Labour or similar enterprise platforms.



Technical Skills:



Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, VPNs, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting.



Hands-on experience with SSO technologies and identity management solutions.



Familiarity with API integrations, web services (REST/SOAP), and scripting for automation.



Exposure to performance testing tools and optimisation techniques.



Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and security best practices.



Soft Skills & Attributes:



Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.



Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges.



Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.



Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.



Leadership qualities with experience mentoring or guiding team members.



Preferred:



Certifications in cloud technologies, identity management, or project management (e.g., AWS, Azure, PMP).



Experience with automation tools and workflow orchestration.
