Sr. Test Engineer

Job Summary: MPS is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Test Development Engineer. The candidate will be involved in all phases of product development, including design for testability, test hardware and software design, hands-on debugging, correlation, characterization, and production release (NPD/NPI). MPS specializes in switching regulators, LED drivers, battery chargers, and digital controllers for commercial and automotive products.

Essential Functions:

• Design component-level circuits for precision parametric measurement and dynamic signal analysis.
• Create automated test system software for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
• Participate in all phases of product development, from design for testability to production release.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of test engineering concepts to complex assignments.
• Train and mentor junior Test Engineers.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of power IC test development experience; 5-10 years preferred.
• BSEE or similar degree required; MSEE a plus.
• Experience with Eagle Test Platform (ETS88, ETS364), J750, ACCOST S8000, Changchuan 8280F/8290 preferred.
• Strong proficiency with switching regulator topologies, including LED drivers, battery chargers, and digital controllers.
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
• Excellent English or Mandarin communication skills; bilingual is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to collaborate with global engineers.
