We are currently seeking a Sr Tester to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Responsibilities
An Informatica Test Engineer's responsibilities generally include:
Requirements analysis: Understanding the functional requirements for data migration and integration projects, and performing traceability and gap analysis.
Test planning and strategy: Defining the overall test strategy, designing test plans, and creating detailed test cases and scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
Test data management: Validating and manipulating test data to meet specific testing requirements.
Test execution: Executing manual or automated test cases to validate the ETL process. This includes verifying data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
Regression testing: Implementing and executing regression test suites to ensure that new code or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Defect management: Diagnosing problems, reporting defects with clear and detailed documentation, and tracking them through resolution.
Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and data architects, to understand data flows and resolve issues.
Reporting: Communicating test progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.

8+ ETL expertise: Solid experience and a deep understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles.
5+ Informatica proficiency: Hands-on experience with Informatica tools, such as PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud (IICS), or Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
5+ Strong SQL skills: Ability to write and debug complex SQL queries for data validation and extraction.
2+ Programming/scripting: Experience with scripting languages like Python is often required for test automation.
