Sr. Tier II Network Technician

Description

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician to support various WAN and LAN networks. Provide incident resolution, routing changes, firewall changes; act as subject matter expert in WAN and LAN technologies; support intra‑ and inter‑net and other data communications systems or segments of networked system.

Job Duties

• Support the installation and maintenance of the client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to and resolve incident tickets.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Provide support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects (site surveys, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), coordinate and install new equipment).
• Perform configuration management functions such as update topology drawings, ensure asset management records are accurate, and conduct inventory.
