Job Description Summary
Projects may involve process transfers (site-to-site or Design-to-site) from Suppliers and other company sites, Tooling development and Equipment Transfer, including associated validation activities.
Once the transfer is complete, is responsible for supporting the implementation of manufacturing procedures and train production trainers
**Job Description**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To support on the completion of deliverable forms and activities required for every Phase Review.
- Create BOM based on Sending Site information.
- Coordinate the process Flow Chart development and cell layout with the Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Manufacturing Supervisor.
- To develop a list and purchase the equipment and tooling associated with the transfer.
- Develop, coordinate, and execute validation protocols and reports including equipment installation, process characterization, calibration activities, spare part list, establish min-max system in the Tool Crib, etc. for Process transfers.
- Support in the execution and/or follow up of special production orders for new product launches. Perform and document laboratory notebook studies.
- Create the new product DMR documentation as product drawings, BOMs, routings, manufacturing procedures, tooling drawings, raw material specifications, etc.
- Provide guidance on technical/documentation issues to develop other engineers on the team.
- Provide follow up to project tasks and perform Phase reviews in absence of Project Manager/Leader.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’ in engineering
- 4 years in Project management/manufacturing area experience
- Proven analytical, planning, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
- Committed, diligent with excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision or guidance and good team building skills.
