Sr Ultrasound Technologist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the general supervision of the Radiologists, Charge Sonographer &/or Manager, the Senior Sonographer utilizes ultrasound equipment to produce high quality sonographic images required to complete the examinations requested. The Senior Sonographer is responsible for training students, coordinating the clinical education provided to the students in the Ultrasound Program, Michener Institute/University of Toronto or other affiliated teaching programs by the professional staff at the clinical site and leading/ coordinating staff educational and training initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Successful completion of a recognized Ultrasound program;
* Current registration with the C.M.R.I.T.O. required;
* Completion of Clinical Educator Certificate Program is required
*Significant experience (3- 5 years) in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, neurological, MSK and interventional ultrasound procedures;
