About the Role
As a Functional Consultant/ Sr Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday's product solutions. You will provide your implementation expertise to our clients while understanding how to best configure and test Workday solutions to meet their business requirements.
About You
Basic Qualification
5+ consulting experience preferred either as an internal consultant or with a consulting / software organization in another ERP application (e.g. Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, ADP, Ceridian or similar applications)
8+ years of functional experience in Financials, Revenue, Spend software solutions or systems
Should have experience in at least 2 full cycle client implementations
Must have demonstrated strong client and stakeholder engagements to achieve project objectives.
Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects.
Developing as a domain expert to find the right solution to the client requirement
Develops working collaborations members of team and management as well as onshore counterparts.
Possesses sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills. Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision
Key Areas of Responsibility
Master at least 2 modules in the Workday Financial product suite (Record to report, Order to Cash, Procure to pay, Spend Management, Project Billing, Business Asset, Banking & Settlement, Accounting Center, Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable)
Perform the following on a client engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the building of prototype configuration, assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday.
Assist the Integration Consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.
Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all client engagements.
Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday's proven solutions.
Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants.
Help deliver successful project outcomes and lasting client relationships.
Other Qualification:
Master/ MBA
