Role : Databricks Engineer ( Azure Cloud)

Location: Onsite – Coimbatore / Salem / Chennai

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract (as applicable)

Experience: 3+ years (mandatory) in Databricks

Industry Preference: Oil & Gas (Preferred)

Working timings: US Time Zone- Night Shifts

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Databricks Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to work onsite at our Coimbatore, Salem, or Chennai office. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building, optimizing, and managing data pipelines using Databricks and modern data engineering tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Databricks on Azure .
• Work extensively with Apache Spark (PySpark) for large-scale data processing.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and cloud storage.
• Implement and manage Delta Lake for reliable data storage.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of Databricks jobs.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and data science teams.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Databricks (mandatory) .
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud (ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL, etc.) .
• Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL .
• Experience with Delta Lake , Databricks workflows, and notebooks.
• Understanding of data warehousing and big data concepts.
• Ability to work onsite at Coimbatore / Salem / Chennai locations.

Preferred

• Experience in Oil & Gas industry projects.
• Databricks or Azure certifications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines.

Work Mode

• Onsite – Mandatory
