Job Summary

The Sr. Structural Engineer – RCC will be responsible for the design, analysis, and detailing of reinforced concrete structures for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in structural software, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant Indian and international design codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design of RCC structures including buildings, foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and shear walls.

  • Prepare detailed structural design calculations and drawings in accordance with IS codes and project specifications.

  • Use structural software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and RCDC for analysis, design, and optimization.

  • Coordinate closely with architects, MEP consultants, and project teams to resolve design and execution-related issues.

  • Review architectural drawings and ensure structural feasibility and cost-effective design solutions.

  • Prepare and review BOQs, reinforcement detailing, and construction drawings using AutoCAD.

  • Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and design clarifications.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and statutory regulations.

  • Review and approve shop drawings and method statements related to structural works.

  • Assist in value engineering and optimization of structural systems to reduce project cost and time.

    • Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

  • Minimum 6 to 10 years of proven experience in RCC structural design and execution support.

  • Strong knowledge of Indian Standard Codes (IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, etc.).

  • Experience in handling multi-storey building projects is mandatory.

    • Required Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, RCDC, and AutoCAD .

  • Strong expertise in RCC design, detailing, and structural analysis.

  • Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings accurately.

  • Knowledge of foundation design, seismic analysis, and load calculations.

  • Familiarity with construction practices and site coordination.
