Position Description:

Experience: 6-10 Years
Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and modernization of full-stack applications and microservices.
Architect and build scalable RESTful services using Python and/or Go.
Define, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins aligned with 10-factor and 12-factor application principles.
Drive configuration automation and infrastructure-as-code using Ansible.
Provide technical leadership in microservices, SOA, and distributed system design.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and best practices.
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Security, and Product teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Own application deployments and operational readiness across Linux and Windows platforms.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis and remediation.
Champion engineering excellence, automation, and continuous improvement in a DevOps-driven Agile environment.

Mandatory Technical Skills
6–10 years of strong hands-on experience in Python and/or Go
Proven expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Advanced experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Strong experience in configuration management and automation (Ansible)
Solid expertise in microservices and service-oriented architectures
Strong hands-on experience with Relational Databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing open-source tools and platforms

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Frontend architecture and development using Angular
UI technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
Strong Shell scripting skills
Experience with messaging frameworks / MQ-based systems
Exposure to OpenStack environments
Strong testing mindset with Unit, Integration, and TDD frameworks
Understanding and practical application of the Spotify Agile Model
Prior experience in large-scale DevOps environments

Certifications (Preferred)
AWS Certified Developer – Associate
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
