We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Burnaby, British Columbia. This position will focus on managing high volumes of personal tax returns during tax season, with responsibilities extending to corporate tax filings as needed. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with both digital and physical documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process T1 personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
• Handle data entry for tax-related documents, including receipts, bank statements, and investment records.
• Utilize CaseWare software to generate financial statements and complete notice-to-reader engagements.
• Conduct compilations and bank reconciliations to prepare trial balances for clients.
