Job Description
Our industry-leading client has an exciting opening for a Staff Accountant to join their growing team in Schenectady, NY.
Responsibilities of a Staff Accountant:-
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements -
Preparation and review of monthly cash flow projections -
Review of commercial tenant leases and escalation billing -
Communicate with property managers on operating forecasts and operating results -
Planning, participating in and reviewing the annual operating budgets -
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications of a Staff Accountant:-
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a strong knowledge of GAAP required -
Prior CPA firm experience preferred -
Experience in leasing and/or real estate industry is preferred -
Prior experience with SAP is a plus -
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related accounting business systems -
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-
Strong analytical and problem-solving s...
