Staff Accountant

Job Summary

We're currently representing a Private Family Office based in Tampa, FL who have a retail lead portfolio consisting mainly of 15,000 sq/ft - non anchored, retail shopping centres. They're looking for someone to take on junior accounting responsibilities across their portfolio. Reporting into the Controller you will be supporting with Bookkeeping duties, Journal Entries and Bank Reconciliations. Additional responsibilities can be provided for more experienced candidates. This will be an in-office role. 

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting: Preferred not required.

Proficient in Excel skills

Experience with Accounting software a plus

Self-motivated team player with effective communication skills and an ability to multitask.

Proactive and deadline sensitive

Team player with strong interpersonal skills; can build effective relationships inside and outside of the organization.

Solid organizational, analytical, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Team player who can work with all members and departments of the organization.

Ability to work well under pressure, effectively manage time, prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, against tight deadlines.
