Staff Characterization Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Creation of Product specific Characterization test plans.
- Identification of bench-top test equipment for the characterization of new products.
- Definition, integration and implementation of product specific optical / electrical characterization test cells - incorporating test equipment, PCB hardware, software and fixturing where appropriate.
- Development of characterization automation software for new products using Python.
- Perform Characterization testing using high-speed lab test equipment (BERT, DCA, PNA/LCA, network analyzer, real-time oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Perform statistical data analysis using statistical tools (JMP, Python, Excel) to generate data charts and statistical graphics.
- Execution of product characterization to schedule through strong prioritization of tasks and managing competing deadlines.
