The Position

Analog Devices is seeking astaffdigitaldesign engineer for its Data Center & Energy (DCE) group inBangalore,India.Within DCE, we deliver high‑reliability power, connectivity, and analytics solutions for modern data centers and energy infrastructure.

The successful candidate willlead key aspects of digital design execution for mixed‑signal SoCs supporting advanced power system analytics.This role plays a central part in bridgingsubject matterexpertiseand technical execution betweenaco-locateddigital design teamand US-basedsubject matter experts, ensuring consistent interpretation of requirements and technical definitions.This rolewill contribute to design implementation,trackand manage design changes, and foster effective cross‑team collaboration to keep the program moving smoothly and accurately.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement and verify RTL for complex digital blocks and subsystems; ensure functional correctness and timing closure

  • Track andmaintainadherence to technical requirements and product definitions; manage change control processes

  • Act as the primary liaison between design teamsandsubject matter experts, ensuringclarity and alignment

  • Support synthesis, static timing analysis, and DFT insertion;assistwith ECO implementation ifrequired

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analog, firmware, validation) to ensure seamless integration

  • Contribute tomethodologyimprovements and mentor junior engineers within the local team

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSin ElectricalorComputer Engineering(or equivalent)

  • 7+ yearsofexperience inASIC/SoCdigitaldesign

  • Proficiencywithfront-end digital designand scripting languages(e.g.,SystemVerilog, C, Python)

  • HighProficiency withRTL-to-GDSflows(e.g.Genus,Conformal,Innovus, Tempus, Modus)

  • Working comprehensionof the operation and measurement of analog circuits

  • Good organization;writtenandverbal communication skills

  • Ability to work across time zones


  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or PhDin Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Demonstrated in-houseexpertisein at least two of the following:

  • Mixed-signal SoC digital architecture for power/connectivity products

  • DFT strategy and production test optimization

  • Power intent (UPF), CDC/RDC closure, and sign-off methodologies

  • Silicon bring-up, failure analysis, yield/reliability improvements

  • Experience with system-level modeling, FPGA prototyping, and standard interfaces

  • Contributions tomethodologyimprovements or internal best practices

  • Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time
