Staff Engineer, Embedded Software
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development and execution of system integration and validation plans for complex SoCs.
• Design and implement system-level test cases to verify functional correctness, edge cases, performance, and power mode transitions.
• Perform debugging and root-cause analysis of SoC issues spanning hardware, firmware, and drivers, using debug tools, waveform analysis, and logs.
• Work closely with design, software, and emulation/virtual platform teams to resolve issues and enhance test methodologies.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of automation frameworks for multi-platform regression testing.
• Document technical findings and communicate results to team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 - 10 years of experience in system validation, silicon bring-up, or post-silicon debug for complex SoCs.
• Proficiency with GCC toolchains, embedded debug tools/utilities (e.g., Segger, OpenOCD), and version control systems such as Git.
• Skilled in Python or similar scripting languages for automation and analysis.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to various audience
