Job Title : Staff Engineer-Energy Storage Systems

Experience : 15-20 Years

Location : Navi Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and validation of UAV energy storage systems (battery, IC engine, fuel cells)
  
• Develop and manage Power Systems and sub-assemblies (BMS, ESC, Motor, etc.) from specifications to production
  
• Perform system integration , ensuring compatibility, reliability, and optimal UAV performance
  
• Oversee component selection, manufacturing, and sourcing considering payload, endurance, and environmental conditions
  
• Conduct design verification & validation (numerical, lab, flight testing, certifications)
  
• Implement quality and reliability control processes across development and production
  
• Maintain technical documentation : design reviews, integration processes, test results, and validation plans
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, manufacturing, software, electronics, hardware, quality) to achieve project goals
  
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes

Requisites:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  
• Proven experience in UAV/drone system design, energy storage, or electric/electronic machine design
  
• Strong proficiency in hardware and system integration for UAVs or flight vehicles
  
• Hands-on experience with CAD (PTC Creo), PLM, Windchill, ECRM, and design processes
  
• Knowledge of Battery Management Systems, Lithium-ion batteries, and energy storage systems
  
• Familiarity with drone regulations, safety standards, and DFMA
  
• Excellent team leadership and people management capabilities
