Job Responsibilities

As a NVE SSD Product Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc, key responsibilities include

  • Product bring up and supporting high volume manufacturing of SSD.
  • Support for SSD failure analysis, yield improvement and data analysis.
  • Perform detailed electrical and physical failure analysis and work with other departments to resolve SSD related issues.
  • Troubleshooting failure from customer return and provide solutions to fix the problems.
  • Work closely with global Product Eng teams to develop test flow, validation plan, qualification of multiple customers and drive cross functional taskforce for qualification gating issue resolution.
  • Mentor new SSD Product engineers

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer engineering.
  • Relevant experience in SSD industry will be an advantage.
  • Relevant experience with computer hardware, knowledge of storage interface such as PCIe, SATA, SAS will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience related to SSD/NAND/Product Development or relevant field of Engineering.
  • Good understanding of SSD device operation, interfaces, product development
  • Excellent Problem solving and Analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, Strong leadership character.
