Lead Pre Siliconvalidationfor complex SOC
Definingvalidationplans,testsand verification/ validationmethodologyfor chip-level. Working with the design team,architecture team, appsteamandsoftwareteamin generating and reviewingvalidationplans.
Work withsoftwareteam and DV team to ensuremaximum collaboration.
Manage the release process of various collaterals to the software team.
Developing andmaintainingvalidationplatforms like emulation,FPGAetc.
System level use case scenarios definition, coding and validationand sign offthrough available platforms
Innovatingsolutions to hit deliverable schedules.
Come up withsystem validationstrategy for a product after going through product requirements and design specificationsalong with endsystemapplications.
Modeling of the external (to SoC) components in the system for theusecasevalidation purposeand deploy in various platforms
Creating various hypotheses around an issue for troubleshooting.
Act as a bridge between hardware and software teams.
Automating the workflow
B.Tech/M.Techwith8+years of industry experience inDigitalPre Silicon verificationor validation.
Good understanding ofSOC/Subsystemdesign concepts and design architectures.
Hands-on experience inUVM basedmethodologyandC++ basedmethodologyisa must .Python basedmethodologyis an added advantage.
Handonexperience inusingemulators/ FPGA .
A good understanding of various application specificalgorithms and hands-on experience in running them on validation platforms is an advantage
A good understanding ofARM based processors and SW workflows
Knowledge insoftwaretoolchains is an advantage
Understanding ofvarious peripherals likeUART, SPI, I2Cetc.and itsdrivers
Very goodhardware debug skills. Good working knowledgeinAMBA protocols. Should be able to debug processor issues.
Knowledge to use IAR/OpenOCD/SeggerJLINK toolsor any otherdebugger tools
Experience in analyzing the system performance
Knowledge of SV-UVM
Knowledge of microprocessor cores such as ARM, RISC-V,Tensilica ,Neural Network.
System Verilog, C/C++, System C, TCL/Python/shell-scripting
Knowledgeofvariousmodeling tools likeMatlabetc. is an advantage.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills,collaborateand influence innovative design development/verification methodologies towiderteamspread across the globe.
Quickto adoptnew technologieswith good problem-solving skills.
