Electrical Hardware Engineer
Target Detection & Modular Open Systems

Responsibilities:
Generate requirements and design ruggedized electrical circuit boards and assemblies.Develop electrical components and subsystems for data processing and interface products.Lead small-scale engineering projects, managing budgets, resources, and customer interactions.Support system architecture analysis, trade studies, and engineering reviews.Design through production support including schematic development, component selection, debug, test, and qualification.Develop and maintain hardware/software requirements documents and test plans.Support prototype builds and procurement, ensuring traceability and hardware/software revision tracking.Apply knowledge of H/W Integrated Product Support (IPS) processes throughout all project phases.Implement engineering design changes and coordinate technical solutions across teams.Ensure designs meet military standards (MIL-1275, MIL-461, MIL-464, MIL-810) and signal integrity practices.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.10+ years of relevant experience in electrical hardware design and development.Ability to obtain a Secret ClearanceProficient with engineering development and test tools.Experience in Target Detection systems and compliance with MOSA, SOSA, GCIA, TSN.Expertise in:Digital and analog circuit design, including power and thermal analysis.Schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.Microprocessor-based systems (Intel, AMD, ARM) and single board form factors (VPX, VME, COM Express).Embedded hardware design and programming (C, C++, Visual Studio).Common interfaces: PCIe, DDR, USB, SATA, Ethernet, CAN, MIL-1553, RS422/485.Video and graphics interfaces: HDMI, DisplayPort, HD-SDI, RS-170, LVDS.FPGA design and simulation (Xilinx toolsets).EMI/EMC and high-speed signal integrity design.Reliability analysis and Six Sigma tools (., DFMEA).Must be able to support occasional evening/weekend work as required.Previous ground combat vehicle experience is highly desired.On-site work or travel may be required based on project needs.Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
