The Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Simulation joins the DUE (Driver Understanding and Evaluation) Machine Learning team to develop scalable machine learning and data systems, improve simulation workflows, and provide evaluation data for the Waymo Driver.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the development of cutting‑edge deep learning and machine learning models to enhance human‑led triaging and automate high‑volume workflows.
• Proactively incorporate best practices across Alphabet and the industry, developing reinforcement learning systems from human preference‑based data.
