Staff Product Engineer (GaN Power Devices)

Job Summary

Renesas is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Staff Product Engineer to own product performance and quality in high-volume manufacturing for GaN power devices. This role is responsible for ensuring robust, scalable production through strong ownership of yield, test limits, excursions, and factory execution, while partnering closely with test engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Product ramp and high-volume production: Own manufacturing product health from NPI ramp through sustained high volume production.
• Support product transfers, ramps, and capacity changes, ensuring stable performance across tools, sites, and suppliers.
• Maintain product BOM accuracy, documentation, and manufacturing readiness.
• Yield and sustaining: Drive yield ownership, including yield analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions across wafer sort and final test.
