Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on the following:

  • Development of next generation wireless communications and broadband products like multi-gigabit Wi-Fi and broadband routers, mesh networks and distributed systems providing high speed data connectivity
  • Pre and post-silicon development of drivers and software for the next generation of Fibre/Cable/5G, WiFi, IoT and smart gateways SoC and system integration

    • Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills in C/C++
  • Exposure to scripting languages like Python
  • Experience in using debugging tools, testing tools, system profiling and performance tuning tools
  • Experience in BSP/device drivers/middleware development
  • Knowledge of networking, broadband and WLAN protocols
  • Knowledge of open-source community software stacks like prpl, OpenWRT, RDKB
  • Understanding in areas of networking QoS, Acceleration Technologies, Multicast
  • Experience in developing Soc platform development
  • Knowledge of device management stacks
  • Deep knowledge of Trustzone/TEE software development
  • Experience of x86 or any other virtualization and hypervisor development
  • Understanding in areas of network QoS, Acceleration Technologies
  • Exposure of AI and IoT technologies is desirable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelors/Masters in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science
  • 5-10 years of experience in software development
