The Salesforce Staff Engineer will lead the Salesforce.com development, design, architecture and delivery of complex business solutions built on the Force.com platform, Sales and Service Cloud, Experience cloud and various technology stacks outside of Salesforce.com.

We are building a unique software stack to manage an ecosystem of Salesforce ecosystem apps, microservices, RESTful APIs, and data integrations with internal and external systems to deliver useful and elegant user experiences in the extraordinarily complex oncology diagnostic and therapeutic landscape. We connect patients with clinical trials, help clinicians order our test and receive our clinical reports, and deliver valuable genomic datasets to researchers to help uncover important insights into treatment paradigms and drug discovery. Our technology stack reflects our views of using the best tools for the job, employing Salesforce, Veeva, along with Mulesoft, MySQL, MongoDB, high-performance computing clusters (HPC), and a variety of AWS services to analyze and disseminate vast volumes of genomic data.

What You’ll Do

  • As a key member of the Business Applications Software team, you will be driving discussion with key business stakeholders to define and implement the vision and technical architecture

  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders, business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions

  • Responsibilities beyond development of software may include participation in managing cross-functional dependencies and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, advanced testing processes and buy vs. build recommendations

  • You will lead major projects/programs providing subject matter expertise for technical design and architecture for Salesforce ecosystem projects

  • You will implement Salesforce dev, design, architecture and DevOps best practices while being hands-on technical leader guiding, coaching and mentoring Junior developers and Technical Leads
