Staff Trainer - Assisted Living

Job Title:

•  Staff Trainer – Assisted Living Location:  Los Angeles, CA (Travel to all seven Glen Park Senior Living facilities) Employment Type:  Full-Time Position Overview: Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a dedicated  Staff Trainer  to provide high-quality training and ongoing education to our caregivers, med techs, and other team members across all seven facilities.


• This role is critical to ensuring staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and compliance awareness needed to deliver exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and deliver training programs for caregivers, med techs, and other staff members.


• Travel between facilities to conduct in-person training sessions and observe staff performance.
• Create and update training materials, guides, and protocols to ensure consistency across all communities.
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding training sessions.
• Assess staff competencies and provide coaching or corrective guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and gaps.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation of staff progress.
• Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and best practices in senior care.
• Promote a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment for staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Education, Nursing, or a related field preferred.


• Experience in healthcare or senior living training highly preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently between multiple facilities in the Los Angeles area.
• Knowledge of assisted living care protocols, HIPAA, and state licensing requirements preferred.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple training projects simultaneously.

Compensation:

• Salary range:  $28  t o $30 an hour , commensurate with experience.
