Job Description

The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for managing nursing staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing coverage, maintaining accurate records, and supporting payroll and reporting functions. The role requires effective communication with staff, management, and admissions to ensure smooth operations in the healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Scheduling: Complete schedules for nursing staff and maintain daily staffing sheets.
  • Coverage Management: Interact with employees to cover daily staffing requirements, including vacancies, open positions, and vacations as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Reporting: Prepare and complete daily nursing hours reports for the Executive Director, and calculate daily nursing hours to meet PPD (Patient Per Day) requirements.
  • PPD Monitoring: Maintain a log of daily and month-to-date PPD.
