Job Description
Hybrid in Charlotte days per week.
EDI Operations & Oversight
• Act as the primary owner of all EDI processes within Corning Optical Communications.
o Commercial EDI interfaces with Customers
Manage EDI integrations that support key Commercial activities (orders, forecasts, ASNs, invoicing) and GSM procurement processes.
Commercial EDI Interfaces integrating with SAP BN (Ariba)
o Integration from IBM Sterling to and from SAP ECC
o Integration from Axway to SAP ECC (EMEA)
o PL Warehouse integration via EDI/XML (Picking, Receipts, Inventory Adjustments, etc.)
o GSM EDI interfaces
o Translate commercial and procurement requirements into functional and technical specifications.
o Oversee the IBM Sterling and ensure high availability, performance, and compliance with Corning standards.
Enter and manage all requests to IBM
Manage all IT spend (forecast and actual) for IBM
