Job Description
This is a pre-award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
At least 3 years of documented work experience in all assignments associated with the operation and maintenance of various small diesel engines and generation units, including the following as a minimum: a) Starting, monitoring, and securing engines. b) Paralleling AC generators, transferring, adding or shedding loads. c) Making necessary adjustments to maintain voltage and frequency within specified ranges. d) Take the necessary casualty control and corrective measures for all emergency power generation situations. e) Exhibit advanced knowledge and skills in Lube Oil and Jacket Water programs. f) Exhibit advanced knowledge and skills in computer operation and utilization.
