About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader to bepart of a purpose-driven, values-led organisation.

For more than 30 years, Sureway has been a trusted leader in
employment services across Australia. As a State Manager for the Inclusive
Employment Australia program, you will be responsible for strategic operations
across your region, leading a team of area managers and guiding them in all
aspects of quality service delivery and performance.

We are looking to fill a number of positions that will cover both metro and country regions across NSW, VIC, SA, QLD, ACT and / or WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight
    across multiple regions and sites
  • Lead and empower a team of Area Managers and their teams to
    deliver sustainable employment outcomes for people with disability
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within a
    participant focused service delivery model
  • Leverage systems, tools, and reports to analyse and monitor
    individual, site and area performance and quality metrics
  • Facilitate training and development to ensure the provision
    of high-quality person-centred services
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with
    government agencies, disability services, employers, and community
    organisations
  • Achieve performance and quality KPIs
  • Represent Sureway at state forums, industry bodies, and key
    stakeholder engagements to influence policy and promote inclusive employment
  • Champion a high-performance and inclusive culture that
    reflects Sureway’s values and commitment to diversity and empowerment
  • What we are looking for:

  • Extensive leadership and management experience, in
    employment services, disability services, or a related human services field
  • Proven experience managing multiple regions or large teams,
    with strong people leadership and coaching capability
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex
    programs, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
  • Deep understanding of disability inclusion, social impact,
    and employment sector reforms
  • Commercially astute with experience using data-driven
    insights to optimise performance and drive sustainable growth
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to
    influence and negotiate at senior levels
  • Tech-savvy and confident in leading teams through digital
    tools, reporting systems, and compliance platforms

    This position requires the successful applicant to
    undertake a National Police Check and relevant state-based screens. Applicants
    also must have the right to work in Australia and hold a valid driver’s licence
    with reliable transport.
