We are partnering with an iconic premium retailer to appoint an exceptional Retail Training Manager to lead capability, performance, and culture across their network of 12 West Australian boutiques. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role, focused on daily in‑store coaching, developing internal talent, and building the next generation of future retail leaders while elevating both customer experience and commercial outcomes.
The Role
Reporting to senior retail leadership, the Retail Training Manager will be responsible for driving capability across all West Australian stores through consistent, high‑impact coaching and development. You will work closely with Store Managers and leadership teams to embed best‑practice selling, service standards, and leadership behaviours aligned to a premium brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily on‑site coaching to Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and Sales Advisors
- Develop and implement retail training programs focused on customer experience, sales performance, and leadership
- Coach leaders to effectively lead, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams
- Embed brand values, service standards, and selling behaviours across the network
- Partner with the Head of Retail to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development plans
- Support new store openings, onboarding, and induction programs
- Track training effectiveness and link learning outcomes to commercial results
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Retail Training Manager, Learning & Development, or Senior Retail Leadership role within a premium or customer‑centric retail environment
- Strong background in coaching on the floor, with the ability to influence behaviour in real time
- Demonstrated success in developing leaders and driving sales performance through people
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for customer experience, service excellence, and people development
- Ability to travel regularly across West Australia and work on‑site within a portfolio of 12 stores
