Job Description

The CME Stator Process Specialist works in a Concurrent Engineering environment across all phases of product development, responsible for converting a design into a manufacturable product. This professional is also responsible for strategies for conversions and expansions of production capacity, footprint analysis, and the development of new processes.



Responsibilities:

  • Capex (Investment) and Opex (Expenses) Assessments in Projects
  • Development, Implementation, and Modification of Production Lines
  • Sourcing of Used Equipment for Retrofitting
  • Development of Equipment Suppliers
  • Development of Manufacturing Processes


Requirements and qualifications:

  • Experience in induction stator processes (winding, insertion, banding, slot insulation) and BLDC (winding, slot insulation, terminal insertion, etc.).
  • Six Sigma (Experimentation, Variation Analysis, Capability, Control Charts, Measurement Systems, DOE)
  • Knowledge of stator equipment manufacturers
  • Workforce Sizing
  • Time and Methods
  • Capacity and Productivity Analysis
  • Production Ramp-Up Strategies
  • Manufacturing Process Certification Methods
  • Cost Analysis, Verticalization, and Outsourcing of Manufacturing Processes (Make or Buy)
  • AQP (Advanced Quality Plan) product and process development methodologies;
  • PFD (Process Flow Design), PFMEA, and PCP (Process Control Plan);


Additional Information

  • Advanced English;
  • Experience in the assembly processes: minimum 8 years
